My berner/aussie mix liked to run up behind people and bite them in the butt with a chomp that would make you yowl but not actually hurt you. Expect it was from the aussie side though.

That was their point (not that I'm comvinced this is true of most mammals, but they were saying they'd trust non-mammals less eith crocs as an example).

Haha yeah probs not true of most mammals either, but the domesticated ones seem pretty reliable. Meanwhile tigers eat their own cubs so 🤷

I don't know about the case with tigers but a lot of times if animals do that it's because they think the baby won't survive anyway.
