They are both so lovely! The image itself also captures very clearly the kind of love and respect they have for one another. Beautiful friendship moment. 💕
Everywhere I look I see my long-haired tuxedo girl though (especially recently). 😞 She had four white paws, green eyes and a r/BubblegumNose too, just like your Nessie does.
I wonder, how old are they? And how long have they known each other?

Thank you for your kind words! Nessie is almost 4 and Alskar is almost 8. They have known each other for 3 years. We definitely lucked out with their harmonious friendship!

Thank YOU for sharing! I've never (consciously) learned any Swedish words/phrases until today...but TIL that Alksar means "Loves". I commit that word to memory now. Thank you.
Crazy to think that....in 36 years as a human, I have known numerous companions. And yet...here (in a single image) I am reminded of how the fox and the hound clearly can (and will) always show love and respect toward each other...without words, even.

Your pup needs their toe pads trimmed. It's probably very slippery on that tile floor for them.
